Growing features
Tomato Nadezhda f1 can be grown in seedlings using special cassettes or peat tablets. This option allows you to get the harvest as early as possible, at the beginning of summer. Growth stimulants can be used to speed up the process.
The seeds do not need to be soaked and disinfected, they are treated with drugs that increase germination. For fast germination, you need a high temperature (at least 25 degrees) and sufficient humidity. Seedlings planted in individual cassettes do not need a pick, they can be moved directly into the ground.
Before transplanting, the plants are fed with liquid complex fertilizer. The grown seedlings are hardened by taking them out into the open air. Planting on the beds begins in the second half of May, when the soil warms up well. With the seedless method, the seeds are sown in the soil, previously mixed with humus. For 1 sq. m can accommodate 4 compact bushes.
Fertilizers and the right soil are very important in growing tomatoes. Read articles on this topic:

Water the tomatoes sparingly, waiting for the topsoil to dry out. During the planting season, they are fed 3-4 times with full complex fertilizer or a diluted mullein. Small bushes need shaping. For better insolation, the lower leaves are removed, as well as lateral shoots above 3 brushes. To prevent the branches with fruits from breaking, they are tied to a support in advance. Mulching will help get rid of weeds.
Diseases and pests
Tomato Nadezhda is quite resistant to the main diseases of tomatoes in greenhouses: late blight, fusarium, verticillium, Alternaria, tobacco mosaic. For greater safety, it is recommended to shed the soil before planting with a solution of hydrogen peroxide or copper sulfate. The soil must be loosened frequently to remove weeds. Read more about methods of combating diseases, about protection against late blight and varieties that are resistant to it.
Spraying of plantings with a pale pink solution of potassium permanganate, phytosporin or other non-toxic antifungal drug is recommended. In open beds, tomatoes are threatened by slugs, Colorado beetles, aphids, thrips and spider mites.
Large insects and larvae are collected by hand, plantings are sprayed with an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide. In advanced cases, industrial insecticides help; plants are treated with them 2-3 times with an interval of 3 days.
Nadezhda is a promising variety for open ground. The tomatoes are delicious, the yield pleases even inexperienced gardeners. Plants easily tolerate the vagaries of the weather, without requiring special care and without suffering from diseases.
